We attempted to discuss what Reiki is in another blog. Please refer to blogpost
“What everybody ought to know about Reiki”
For decades, Reiki was not recognised by mainstream medicine due to the lack of scientific evidence. However, indigenous people have been using it to treat general ailments for thousands of years, calling the practice different names depending on the part of the world they lived in, for instance, Chi in China, Ki in Japan and Prana in India.
Reiki, which is described as “guided life force”, has drawn the attention of more and more medical professionals in the Western world in recent years as more scientific research and evidence emerges claiming a significantly increased physical and psychological wellbeing following Reiki treatments.
There are now institutions collaborating with medical doctors and scientists to gather evidence to boost the public and professional confidence for it to be incorporated as an integral part of modern medicine. Some highly reputable medical institutions now offer Reiki as part of a standard treatment option in the US and UK (see the link below). Some pioneering General Practices in England have already started prescribing Reiki for patients under the “Social Prescribing” initiative. Please ask your GP about “Social Prescribing” when you have a chance This is particularly helpful for people who struggle financially to cover their private healthcare bills.
Reiki practitioners have also carried out various experiments on water over the decades, because it is easier to set up and quicker to observe the effects on water, compared to experiments on people which mostly use a self-reporting method.
One of the experiments was carried out by one of my Reiki Masters Torsten Lange. It clearly showed that water molecules became more orderly and their shape changed profoundly into beautiful crystal patterns once the water has received distance Reiki for one hour from hundreds of miles away.
Reiki is all about peace and harmony. It can be used regardless of your personal beliefs or religion. Reiki simply helps people restore their natural energy to a state of balance and enhances their innate ability to heal.
Why we need to know how Reiki affects water? It is a matter of fact that our body is made up of at least 60% water, with babies usually having a much larger proportion of about 75%. Don’t you agree that if Reiki has affected water in such an evident way, it may be having an effect to our body because we are largely made of water?
A fun experiment
Here is a fun experiment you can do at home just to prove that “good vibes” do make a positive difference to water or objects with a high water content. Firstly, cook some rice or pasta in water (cooked rice generally contains about 60-68% water depending on the variety), divide this equally into two clean and sealed containers. Label one with the word “hate” and the other with the word “love”. Keep both containers in the same environment either in or outside a fridge.
Let me know which cup of rice goes off first? How long did the one with “love” stay looking healthy? Have fun:))
